About a Year, but Still a Learning Grasshopper :)

Well, I am super busy with school, dance/musical, and work. Sometimes it's overwhelming. But at the times that I don't have things to do, I get really bored. Like now- I have caught up on all my e-mail's and blog reading and actually eating a meal! But still, I like being on the go a little more. School is good- I'm still doing well- I hate my history teacher though. Her name rhymes with a bad word and for a good reason! I know that is really harsh, but you haven't had her, you'd know if you did. I have also been working on the Homecoming banner for the Junior Class of '09 (my class of course) and I must say that it looks BEAUTIFUL! I but the i's dot as 09 and then put sparkles around it!! Omg, you'll just have to wait and see- once I get a battery for my camera. That's what we've decided because it's easier to spend $20 instead of $200. That means that there is still hope of pictures in my blog! And not all text... We'll see. Dance is fun, hard work, but still enjoyable. There's one teacher that isn't that great, she's new this year, but I've switched out of that class for a more challenging one anyway. But might go to the more more challenging one. I have dance every Saturday and for the first two hours, I get to help teach the little ones! They are so cute and I honestly am thinking of becoming a dance teacher because I enjoy that soo much. And last but not least {not least cuz I get money from this one :) } , Work~ it's hard to work a night with a 25 year old busser! Yea- you saw right- a 25 year old buss bo--- man?! I honestly don't know how to label him. He doesn't do much and doesn't know how to do much of what he does do. So on Wednesday night, I got to work 2 1/2 rooms instead of 1 1/2. Well, I guess that's why I get to train my friend, who everyone will call Cat because she hates it and I told them all that! I'm sometimes mean! ;) But honestly, I like my job- not one that I want to keep forever, but it's not one of those offal jobs you hear teens having these days. I get free food- no tips :'( - and minimum wage. That's a pretty good deal if you ask other peps. They get tips but their pay/hr is like 5.15 or something! I get a little more then that, but honestly I dont' know if I'm alloud to say it to the world, so I just get more than 5.15.... :)

Onto knitting news.... Well the forcast in MTL is calling for hats, yes hats everywhere, a baby hat, a blue hat, an animal crackers hat from the Harry Potter Movies worn by Ron Wesley, yes the forcast looks to be full of hats, but wait, what's that? Oh yes, I see a sweater in there, a very nice blue eyelet cardigan that is cropped, yes yes. Very good, oh and one more project- the store's Grown-Up Bonnet made with the Blue Sky Alpaca WorstedWeight. SOOO soft!!

lol :) I hope you liked my Knitting Sports News. :) I enjoyed that. And yeah, I do realize that that is 2 sentences... 0:)

Not sure yet if I can make it to one of the next Knitting nights, but I will try, as I always do! <<33!!!!

AH!!!! Forgot to mention the reason of the title! I am knitting the Grown Up Bonnet and here's what it says.... "(WS) Work even in St st for 5 rows, beginning with a purl row. Change to larger needle and work even until Gusset measures 7" from the beginning, ending with a WS row."
Now, can anyone tell me which row should be next in line??? And how to do "Row 1: (RS) Skp, knit to last 2 sts, k2tog- 24 sts remain."

Thank YOU!!!!! :)

And the Winner is~~>.>~~>..?!?

...... CELTIC QUEEN!!!! She didn't win with the fashion show according to her blog- but she has won the knowledge of a black cow. I do not put the chocolate syrup in, but that would be quite interesting. I will make brownies or something- not sure yet, but some treat- cuz.... I'm actually coming to FRIDAY NIGHT KNITTING!!! I requested the night off actually :) hehe- But that's ok- I've worked the Friday's there for like a month- so not cool. We have bowlers now... What are bowlers you ask- they are the group of ranging from a party of 20 to 30 some people- All elders. But they do eat quick- but they never have a constant time of coming in either. Well, enough about them, back to my exciting knitting life!! I finished my Pens Scarf!!! It is super cute and super warm! I will show this baby off at Friday night knit night; along with the baby hat I made a while back for my ballet teacher, she had the baby- it's a boy- and I have a picture of him in it!!! I'm bringing it to show off! I've never had a picture of my knitting from someone else! It's such a neat feeling, and I just want to scream, LOOK!! I MADE THAT!! LOOKY!! :) Well, I am working on another one, just for fun- I'll probably have someone to give it to during the Clevland Christmas visit- I think a few ladies out there are pregnet- well, they get a beautiful knited baby hat :) I also have other things that I am working on randomly, but so much is packed into my scedule now with school-dance-work-homework-sleep-showering-laundry. It's just hard to keep up sometimes. Well, as you can tell, it's late- I must go- and CONGRATS TO CQ!!! <<33 Nighty-night :)

omg, Black Cow?!

Well, the omg is oh my gosh (God)- whichever floats your boat, and the Black Cow?!?? No one at work knows what it means, I would like to see if you all know it. I need input on what you think you know. Back to omg- it's junior year and so far pretty easy. Knock on wood* My Spanish teacher is the coolest, I must say, and my History teacher, just sucks. She hates me already. I have a 100% in the class, but she hates me because... Because.... Because I knit during the parts of class she shows movies!! I hate her.... Ok, that is kind of strong, but- think about it; it's a movie, there's enough light, I stay focused- what's the problem?! I was called after class like I was in second grade and tried to kick little Tom when he cut me at the water fountain. She said that knitting is like texting and that she has to think about it, and you know what she said- it's possible to get a detention for knitting in class! Have you ever heard of that? My English teacher is nice, she says, oh- you knit Carly, that's so neat, you must show us when you're all done, but noooo- this witch wants to give me detention for it! You know what this means,? NO x-mas gift for you little lady.

Ok- done ranting. Onto my knitting projects. First, my sweater is going very well so far, almost the 3inches of ribbing is done. :) Yes, I'm taking it very slow. Oh and my b-e-a-U-tiful PENS scarf is just lovely. So long and luscious with all it's blue sky alpaca wool that makes it so wondrous. . . Sorry, just dreaming about pretty yarns. :) Well, I'm looking forward to the Steeler socks for ... someone- I hopefully will be at knitting on Thursday night because I don't have work. And I am trying very hard to get the next Friday night knit night back so I don't have to work. By the way- have I mentioned that the Bowling & Paddlers that belong to the Club, are extremely annoying. They got a table of 12 and another of 8, then they switched a bunch of chairs in and out and added more people. They come in whenever they want and they are just so annoying, and I never want to work that night again. But guess what~ they come every Friday now until the end of April. I'm in for a whole lot of crap from the Bowlers.

In other news- Musical has started. We are doing Bye Bye Birdie, and I hope that everyone will clear the flowing dates: January 31, February 1 & 2 ; off for this event on their calenders. Thank you very much. I must do some research on the play because I really want a part and the auditions seem scary. But I really want a part.

While I go do my research on Bye Bye Birdie- you do some of you flashbacks, NO CHEATING ON THE INTERNET- to find out what a Black Cow is.... Good Luck! :)
