I did the COLOR ME RAD run right before school started =). It was AWESOME!
Just a few friends and I running a 5k on a Saturday morning. Very proud of ourselves.
After bomb'n color run, school started. . . I have a schedule of all night classes, and online classes. My days are quite boring right now and I try to get work done but I am distracted by things like Pinterest, Tumblr, Ravelry and Gilmore Girls. I also live in a cave. My apartment is on the second floor of an eight floor building and we see no sunlight because we are in the inside apartment that looks over nothing. We can hear and see rain if it's raining, but sunlight forget it. We're taking Vitamin D to ensure our intake of happiness.
Labor Day happened after the first week of classes and the whole gang got together to celebrate at a friends and picnic it out as the last summer hoopla.
We played football, BBQ'd, ate fruit, did it all up. Even had the famous home made slip'n slide. Great way to finish off the summer officially, sadly.
Now I've just been powering through the weeks and I get to go on vacation in just a few days! AH! My man is taking me to Virginia Beach and I cannot wait! I am clearly trying to get all my work done before we go, but I have decided to update my blog. I am also trying to finish up my sweater while I'm there because it is quickly approaching cold weather and I so want to wear my sweater as soon as possible =).
I'll post beach pictures when I get back. Until then, I'm working on my checklist of things to get done, as well as laundry I've built up. . . Haha
