EEK!

I don't know if I can go to Friday Knit Night, I might have to work- School starts next Monday- a week from now- and I want to paint my room, go back to school shopping and everything else! AH! Why so much to be down in such a short amount of time?! OH!!! I finished my sock today!!! Michelle helped me and it is displayed in the loverly Bloomin' Yarns- The Corn Maze yarn. I am also very red from a shoot I worked on Saturday (taking pictures of little football players and their little cheerleaders), and I am red. When I go to work I wear a white shirt and it's bad, cuz the table clothes are white too and when I put my hand next to all that white, I look like a lobster trying to take empty plates away. I don't think they realize it though because they really ignore all the buss kids, they just let us take it away unless they don't eat for 10 minutes then we ask then they finally start to eat when we come over and we look stupid. Well- I have lots of storys.... Ok, there was this one guy on the patio- he was telling the fellow members about his plane trip this one time. He was complaining and complaining about it- then we finally heard him say 'I can't believe I had to ride coach.' It's just so sad that you had to live like the rest of us isn't it? The whole world should crazy down and revolve around you. Just bad. Well, as knitting projects go- I have bought my Pens scarf yarn and I would like to see what the stitches you are describing look like but again, I don't know if I'm coming Friday, we usually get out late on weekend nights. Can you believe I have to work the NIGHT BEFORE school starts! I don't want to go back, I like sleeping in. :) Well, Sandcastle tomorrow with Youth Group, hope and pray it doesn't storm- <<33 laters!

Knitting all the time

I just can't stop- I mean seriously I can't. I went to the movie Stardust with my friend Beka (by the way, AMAZING movie), and when the previews were going, I was knitting a hat. Yup, I knit until the lights went totally black and couldn't tell my knit stitches from my purls, so had to stop. My friend laughed as I was doing this, but then realized she wanted a hat too. lol, well, she will most likely get one. I also am reading the Harry Potter book like mad too. I sit on my porch outside with my Harry Potter music, my book, and my nifty bag from Heather that has either a hat in it or a sock depending on when I'm knitting. Right now it has a hat but it had a sock in it for a while. That's how I got it done so fast (I need to graft the toes, I didn't put those instructions in my little note book)- I was reading and knitting at the same time. Very fun. I suggest to all readers reading this now- pick up your knitting! You're wasting valuable knit time!! I mean, seriously. I knit in the car now. I just can't look at it too long or I'll get a head ache, so I don't knit in the car that often. But I am very well ahead on the blue and silver thing, you know what I mean if you see me knit. I got 4 skeins (I combine the colors so it's only like 2) but I still finished them off in almost like 3 days. That's quick. And I am working on a hat right now, because I decided to frog the flare legs warmers.... Yes I will still make leg warmers, no they will not be flare. :)

Ok, I still don't have internet and I still don't have a digital camera. I also want to paint my room and go for a little back to school clothing shopping with my friend Allison. So, I'll take about 75 to Forever21, paint would be like 50 maybe... Then a digital camera is next on my list.... I need to get one before the musical starts because I just love taking pictures at rehearsal. Also at family functions and at other events as well, like, MY KNITTING ACCOMPLISHMENTS! :) I have so many items left to knit, but OH! I finished the Browns scarf, I no longer like them, it was just a little thing, it was just not hating them as much. That's all. And I've decided to make a pair of Steelers socks for the Cleavland uncle (He lives in Cleveland, but is a Steelers fan). That should get me back on the right track with the Pittsburgh ways. I also cannot wait to get that Pens scarf started. I don't think I am going to do the cable in that, I got this really beautiful purple soft soft yarn and I think that will be the cable on size 8's and the Pens scarf will just be ribbing or something like a scarf I got for X-mas a few years ago that is really nice at alternating colours. Well, my time is limited and I am hungry. I will knit my way down the stairs! :) I have work Thursday, so no Knitting then, but maybe the next??! We'll see. But Everyone keep knitting!!!! :D

Happy Birthday Crosby!!!

Well, today is Sidney Crosby's 20th Birthday- number 87 born on 8-7-87... Going to be making 8.7 million with the new contract. He's no longer a teenager, which really saddens me. :( But what saddens me more is that the Pens haven't yet renewed or extended Marc-Andre Fleury's contract yet. It is erally giving me a scare. Well, onto knitting. I am so excited about the Bloomin's sale. I have a huge bag on hold, and some of it isn't even cotton! I just don't want anyone else to touch it!! I have the Pens colours picked out for an amazing scarf I want to do. The yarn calls for size 19 needles. I don't know- can I do a cable with needles that big?? I really want to learn how. Oh, and I have some blue Love It! yarn (cotton) for my first sweater! I am really excited, can you tell?? Oh, but I have not told you what I am working on right now, except for the sock for the shop- which by the way, I on the heel part, doing a lot of slip stitching stuff, kind of confusing, but catching on. But anyway, I am working on the most beautiful scarf for my cousin who is a huge football fan. My cousin will love this scarf and it kind of makes me feel bad saying that it is such a beautiful scarf because I am from Pittsburgh, no I'm from Blitzburgh- Home of the Steelers, and... and.... I'm making a Browns scarf that could honestly make me switch because it is just soooo beautiful!!! Ok, I said it. But it's not true. I will always love the Steelers, just Pens a little more because they have hotter players. :) But once everyone sees this scarf at Friday Night Knitting- I have work on Thursday so can't go to that one, but maybe I'll go before work to try to finish my sock- You too will wonder if our colours are strong enough. I mean these colours and the way they contrast are just so beautifully. I think I will do one for my aunt too. She is also a Browns fan. My uncle is the Steelers fan. I sewed him a nice Steelers scarf last year, but maybe I can perswade myself back to black and gold by knitting him a hat of black and gold. Maybe... We'll have to see, because like Laurie, I think I have Startitis or however you spell it, cuz I just keep seeing new yarn and more projects, and oh my gosh, I'm excited for it!!! :D
